On November 14th I met with the team at Gunpowder park to discuss progress and to prepare for the seminar the following day. We were joined by Andre Dekker from Observatorium in Rotterdam, the new mentor. It was great to get encouragement and feedback, and to see that many of my ideas literally sparked up new ideas through conversation and looking. The seminar the following day was really inspiring, and reassuring. It was great to see other peoples research, and in particular the way in which people had worked with the idea of the work being an idea. This freedom to think can be both a blessing and a curse. Before the seminar and meeting it felt like a curse, now it feels like a blessing and the ideas are coming thick and fast.
